Wider Horizons Options Program Fall 2012 - Current Program

Tyrone and Donegal

Our Youth and Community group from Tyrone and Donegal arrive in Pittsburgh on Monday the 5th November, after a 1-week delay due to the weather on the US' East Coast. 18 young people from across Northern Ireland and Donegal will engage in non-paying internships in the Pittsburgh area. As usual they will stay with host families in the region, take classes at Duquesne University, and attend various social activities including Duquesne Dukes football & basketball, bowling, movies, and a trip to the nation's capital.

We are very grateful to the following placements who will be giving the young people an opportunity to expereince the US workplace:
