Question: Can someone come and speak to my group/school?
 
Reply: The Ireland Institute's staff is available to meet with groups and schools in the Pittsburgh area to give presentations about Northern Ireland & Ireland:- its people, its political situation, living & working there

Question: How are you funded?
 
Reply: Currently over 90% of IIP funding comes from contracts with private corporations, various government departments, and Non-governmental organizations including but not limited to The US Department of State, International Fund for Ireland, the American Ireland Fund, and Northrop Grumman Corporation. As a non-profit organization the IIP also benefits from the generosity of its donors.

Question: How can I get involved in the work of the Institute?
 
Reply: We are always looking for volunteers to assist us in carrying out our mission. For details on how to help, please go to our Get Involved page

Question: How can I get Irish Citizenship?

Question: I am interested in Irish Dancing lessons, do you have any information?
 
Reply: There are 3 Irish Dancing Schools in Pittsburgh:- The Shovlin School of Irish Dance, Bell School of Irish Dance, Burke School of Irish Dancer

Question: Where can I find out information about my Irish ancestors?

Question: Where can I study abroad in Ireland?
 
Reply: There are many great Universities & Colleges in Ireland including University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin City University & Royal College of Surgeons. Click on the links to reach their websites

Question: Where is the Ireland Institute of Pittsburgh located?
 
Reply: The IIP is located on the fourteenth floor of the Regional Enterprise Tower (formerly Alcoa Building) on the corner of William Penn Way & 6th Avenue, Downtown, just opposite Mellon Square and adjacent to the Omni William Penn Hotel. Parking is available oppopsite the Regional Enterprise Tower.
